CONCURRENT EXAM APPLICATIONS
Maine will accept concurrent applications from examinees sitting for the UBE in another jurisdiction. Applicants must still apply as if taking the Maine bar exam, but do not have to sit in Maine if sitting for an exam in another UBE jurisdiction (for the same exam administration). In order to apply concurrently with another UBE jurisdiction, please complete a Bar Exam application, below.

A. PRELIMINARY QUESTIONS

  1. If you are a graduate of the Massachusetts School of Law, click here first.
  2. If you are a graduate of a law school located outside of the United States, click here first.
  3. If you are requesting Testing Accommodations for the Maine bar examination, click here first.

B. REQUIRED MATERIALS
Before completing any application you must first read:

  1. The Maine Bar Admission Rules; and
  2. UBE Bar Exam – Application Procedures.

C. THE APPLICATION FORMS

IF YOU HAVE A CREDIT FROM A PRIOR EXAM AND WOULD LIKE TO PAY ONLINE, PLEASE CONTACT THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO CONFIRM YOUR CREDIT AND RECEIVE A LINK FOR ONLINE PAYMENT BEFORE MAKING PAYMENT

*In accordance with Maine Bar Admissions Rule 6(a), applicants shall make payments by debit card, credit card, personal check, cashier’s check, certified check, or money order payable to the Board of Bar Examiners.*  

*Applicants will be charged a convenience fee of 3% for any payment made by debit card or credit card.
