You must first read the Regulations for Determining Equivalency of Foreign Legal Education.

If after reading these Regulations, you believe you may qualify to sit for the Maine Bar Examination, the Board of Bar Examiners needs to receive the information required by the Regulations directly from the school(s) you attended.

The Board of Bar Examiners handles all foreign applications on a case-by-case basis. If you wish to forward complete information about your education prior to submitting an application, the Board will review the information and advise you whether you meet the criteria set forth in the Regulations.
